That night I was imaging the Pacman nebula in Ha. Just for fun I pointed the scope to the moon and took 10 shots. Shooting the moon with an Ha filter makes limited sense as the moon is reflecting the sun light and thus is a broad band target. I was just too lazy to get the Ha filter off the camera. On the other hand the limited bandwidth removes a lot of the atmosphere's diffraction. I selected the best of the 10 subs and processed it. For a high resolution image one would shoot thousands of frames in video mode. Nonetheless the just for fun image is quite nice so I decided to present it here.
